I have installed a mod called something along the lines of ELS from the lspdfr website( I followed Albo1125's guide.) I downloaded the newly updated one and I am having problems with sirens with all of the police cars I add in the game. I added a BMW British version and when i activate the siren and lights (or just lights) I only get the siren coming through and the brake lights flashing and nothing else. But when I call for backup by pressing B and request local response units the API spawns in with BMW's which is a replica of mine and they have flashing lights and sirens on theirs. If I steal one, I am not able to turn the engine off nor am I able to turn the siren or lights off. If anyone could suggest any help that would get great. 

 

If anyone would like to see this problem I don't have any problems showing on skype/discord/teamview.

 

[I don't know if this is related hence why it is at the bottom, but I have problems replacing all other types of police car other than "POLICE" I am using OpenIV too, so I don't know what the problem is.

The problem you're having with ELS is that you dont have ELS .xml files which are required for the lightbar to show up, if a vehicle comes with [filename].xml place it into your ELS > pack_default for it to work.

 

As for the replacement of vehicles, use the most recent patchday (e.g. 15) whenever replacing any vehicle. This is because every single vehicle is available in patchday 15 lets say, and only some are available in patchday 3. I had the same problem when I first started modding, but this should fix it.
