So I recently did I clean install on GTA V so I could play multiplayer, then realized it still was trash. So, I got LSPDFR again, along with the newest version of rage plugin hook. I click rph to launch LSPDFR and it works fine, until is says, "Slow system or bad antivirus" Or it says, "Slow system or insufficient permissions". What do I do? I only have one file and no backup, so yeah. I have just the base LSPDFR installed, along with Computer+ . Please help if you can.

And you are sure you don´t have another folder that has a similar name to your main folder? Like "Grand Theft Auto V - Copy" or "Grand Theft Auto V modded"

I am sure. All I have is the main folder. Never really bothered to make a backup.

Copy the file location of your GTA V main folder

 

 

Windows button + r

 

type "regedit"

 

Double click "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" > Software > WOW6432Node > Rockstar Games >  Grand Theft Auto V > Installfolder 

 

then type/paste the file location of your GTA V Main folder

Yes, i understand it sounds weird, it basically makes your RPH be completely sure that it´s reading from the correct folder, and if the correct file location is already written in "Installfolder" you don´t have to do the whole process.

Hmm, i had the exact same problem yesterday but i had two folders one for modded GTA and one for MP, my issue was that RPH was trying to load files from the regular folder for MP. Have you tried looking around for people with the same problem? I know theres a couple on this forum.

I have, but most of them fixed it by removing script hook or some other plugin. I just have base lspdfr and computer+ or its the problem of the 2 folders. Thanks though.

its the enb files which causes teh issue,  delete them and u can run rph just normal.

The ENB Files? Dumb question, but what are those? :P

When you do a fresh install of GTA 5 you must go to your Main GTA folder and remove it to wipe all the old files out of it (did you do all that?, or just uninstall only?, when i did a uninstall of gta 5, most of the old files were still on my hard drive. Which was causing issues for me, so i removed the folder, and the install replaced it with all the new files.

 

Also make sure Enable Counter Measures is un-checked

and that rage is updated to RAGE Plugin Hook - Open Alpha - 0.59.1200.14411

If you are using Script Hook V & Net, check those also

And of course check your Albo Common Dll should be dated around 8/26/2017

Ahh, okay. I will try that form of install. I will delete my GTA V folder, then i will uninstall from steam then re-install. Thanks! I will give you an update on my results!

No problem, i have delt with most of these bugs people are having, and got my game up and running smoothly with pretty much all major Mods and textures. Have a occasional lspdfr crash but game launches and game itself dont close and crash.
