I 've searched the topics but din't find exact what i want.My issue is that i want a white hat in my peds.
I use Nypd uniforms and British by DDoppler.In Nypds uniforms i can use a white one but not in British.Trying to figured out

i realised that hats are the pictures in pedprops.img.Nypd uniforms have replace the m_y_cop_p and the British the m_y_cop_traffic.I made a try,saving a p_head from the Nypd and replace it in the British one ,but nothing happened.
Any idea of how to "borrow" or add a hat by using an already existed  to the pedprops?

If it didn't spawn then it probably means you put it in the wrong location. You have to find the newest update that contains the  and pedprops .img

Problem solved,maybe that was that you mentioned.The British uniforms were replacing the mycoptraffic.I believe that this model didn't have enough slots for many hats.As the read me file writes in the archive of British uniforms,the white hat will be spawned by choosing a helmet from SNT.
What i did was to exact the pngs from the m_y_cop(this file was with the NYpd uniforms having a white hat),then i saved TWO textures that was about white hat.After

i opened pedpromps and the m_y_traffic_cop(this models was with British uniforms and was appearing only one black hat) and replaced the two main pngs about hats with those from the other file.And then it came out,a white hat with british uniforms.
I will post related screens because i think that many other play gta iv because of low end pcs and it would be great if anyone can have more choices  to his game.I hope to be in a position in the future to make more changes in my game "playing" with pngs.
