GTA IV Crashes on loading screen... HELP!

Featured Replies

So, a couple days ago I decided to re-visit LCPDFR. I found my old SSD with my game files on it, and tried to start the game. It seems fine, until you press "Start".  After that, it shows the splash screen of a character, the loading music cuts out for a second, then the game crashes. It never gets past one splash screen. I have a few scripts installed, and picked them out one-by-one to see if they were the problem, and it still didn't work. I have gotten to the point that I have replaced every modded/changed file in my directory with thew original. I have uninstalled LCPDFR, nothing. I have multiple copies of the game, (normal version, version with trainer, version with just LCPDfR, etc.) and it seems like this is the only install that is the problem. I have searched the ends of the earth for a solution, and no cigar. This install is important to me, because I have made custom loading screens and such. That's why I haven't just moved my scripts over. And no, loading screens aren't the problem. I am glad to provide any log files needed, even a recording of what's happening.

I found the error, it was a corrupted vehicle in the vehicles.img

It was a remake of Bozza's 2015 Charger, (from another modsite.)
