Rage Plugin Hook not working correctly

So all the sudden my RPH load screen when first loading GTA is back to the random pictures instead of the screen that tells me which plugins are loaded. But the problem is that when I get in game and press the key to open the RPH trainer, the game just freezes until I press the key again. I tried changing the key to something else because I thought maybe it was an key issue due to simple trainer but when I change the key and save and launch the game, it doesnt actually save! So I cant even change the key to launch the RPH trainer. 

Anyone know whats wrong? I literally haven't changed anything since the last time I played when there were no issues.
