Hello my name is Dylan and I installed ELS and attempted to install a vehicle and the siren works but lights only show up for the break lights. I read the “read me” for it and followed it completely but still no luck. Any ideas on how to fix this?

1) Did you install the ELS VCF into the pack_default folder?

 

2) Do you have ScriptHookV?

 

3) Do you have advancedhookv.dll in your main directory?

yes to all 3 still does not work

Try this, please.  In OpenIV, go to ASI Manager and uninstall ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI and then click install again to reinstall them. Next, restart your PC, and try loading into the game again and see if that works. If it still not working, please post the ASI log and ELS log files.

Please take a screenshot of your GTA V main directory, the ELS folder, and the pack_default folder.

You said you had ScriptHookV, but according to your screenshot you do not.  Download it from here - http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv

 

Install to the main directory.

That's the issue I think I didn't put it in the main directory

Yes.

I just tried to redownload it and now I am getting this popup.

    C:\Users\dylan\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\TempState\Downloads\ScriptHookV_1.0.1180.2.zip: Cannot open C:\Users\dylan\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\TempState\Downloads\ScriptHookV_1.0.1180.2.zip
!   The system cannot find the file specified.

Do you not have WinRAR installed?  It's how you open zip files.  https://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

yes I do I just re reinstalled it and it now it works but now another issue evolved.

Just sign in and check "auto sign in".

I tried multiple times and keep getting the same error.

I'm honestly not sure, installing WinRAR shouldn't do that.  Try launching GTA V via Steam or the GTA 5.exe.  Same thing?

Just tried with steam now it seems to be working loading in. I will let you know if the lights work now. When I select the car do I have to turn all the selections on or keep them off when I select the vehicle?

Lights still are not working only the tail lights blink

You mean from the police garage menu?  You don't touch the extras.

 

To be frank with you, at this point, I'm positive there is something on your end that isn't correct, or something you're not doing right.  Can you please take an updated screenshot of your main directory?
