I had downloaded the foot pursuit aid mod here but as suggested in one of the comments, it appears to be out of date and no longer working. Does anyone know of a mod to make you run reasonably faster during foot Pursuits so you don't have to end up shooting them or giving up? 

 

I have Googled to the point of breaking Google and haven't found a thing. I tried the run fast option in simple trainer, but it also speeds up your walk and makes it look really funny. Thank you in advance!

The answer is that it isn't possible.
