Hey,

 

unfortunately, I've got a new problem with LSPDFR. :(

It worked fine for a few months, but for some time the usual

RagePluginHook-Screen didn't come up when I started RPH.

Today I had time and tried to fix the issue.

 

First of all, I updated my GTA 5 version, it wasn't the newest one.

Then I got a message that I'd have to update ScriptHookV, I also did that.

Finally, I updated RagePluginHook to the newest version.

 

But there was no improvement.

Then I found a video showing my problem:

 

It told me to set "Force Windowed Mode" and "Borderless Window",

after that I had the splashscreen. Yeah!

 

But nevetherless, the game doesn't want to start.

I've got the usual starting screen and it says all up to

"Loaded plugin LSPD First Response" - but then nothing happens,

the game doesn't start.

 

 

Somebody knows what to do?

Okay, I could solve the problem by reinstalling GTA and LSPDFR.

 

But now I've got a new problem:
I already asked for help because my game switchs to window-mode when I go on duty.

That leads to problems with the Police SmartRadio - I can't see it after switching back to fullscreen-mode.

@Kallus Rourke told me to enable the setting "Force Fullscreen Mode" and it worked.

 

Now I have the following problem:
As described above, I have to set it to "Force Windowed Mode"

to get the splashscreen working and LSPDFR loading.

But then I can't force fullscreen-mode.

 

I hope you can understand what my problem is

I think you are asking how to get back to full screen mode after getting the game to launch using "Force Windowed Mode", is that correct?

 

I had to do that as well to get the game to launch, but as soon as I am in the game, I hit Start to pull up the pause menu, then find Video or Graphics settings (can't remember which for sure) and then there should be an option for full-screen mode. Use that. You can also try Alt + enter (toggles full screen) and let me know if you can see your Smart Radio...

 

You are hitting the correct button on the dpad, right?

Alt + enter works for toggling fullscreen-mode,

but I still can't see my Smart Radio. :/

Just to give a short update:
 

I reinstalled the Police Smart Radio.

Now the advice @PumaBreath gave is working.

The problem isn't solved, by I can bypass it by using Alt + Enter - that's the main thing. :)
