Addon cars not spawning w/ trainer!

So I added 2 more addon vehicles to my game tonight and one of them wasn't ELS the rest of my fleet is fully ELS but I ended up not liking the NON_ELS car and removed it from my game completely after to my surprise I was trying to spawn my other addon cars with simple trainer by "vehiclename" and it said "INVALID VEHICLE", even in my save/load car menu the ones I had saved read "carnotfound" so I really don't know what to do because obviously I removed the entry lines of the NON_ELS car from my carvariations and vehicles.meta and still the other cars aren't working anymore and here I am stuck...

 

Can anyone point me to what I did wrong or what I should try to do?

Also forgot to mention that all of my addon vehicles are located and installed in the same dlc folder "mpchristmas2" I'm talking about 9 addon cars and they were working just fine before the last 2 cars were included, strangely enough out of all 9 vehicles 3 of them actually will spawn no problems but the other 6 are still showing "INVALID MODEL" after trying to spawn them... :sad:

Removing one model won't cause others to break unless you unintentionally messed with something else in the process.   All your add-on cars should work fine if the vehicles.meta, carvariations and vehicle files are present.

Kal on previous occassions that I encountered issues with the game with your help and some fiddling I have been able to point out what my issues were but this time around I legitimately have no clue what is making my game behave this way. Keep in mind I only have 9 or 10 vehicles as addons, every single one is in the same DLCpack(mpchristmas2), both carvars and vehicle.meta files are customized properly to fit the addon cars, the game was totally ok up until 48hrs ago when I added another car at the time of spawning it with vehiclename it did but then the other addons were no longer being recognized by the game so at this very moment all replacement cars for default slots load no problem but the game for some reason isn't finding the cars in the DLCpack not all of them at least, 2 out of the 10 do spawn whereas the rest will just say "invalid model". I did a fresh install this afternoon and nothing also tried switching the DLCpack from mpchristmas2 to something else like mpluxe2 with the proper steps and same result I'm pulling my hair atm.

Replaced the gameconfig with the one provided same result however game runs okay but addon cars can't be spawn excepting for the same 2 which  is weird because i dont understand why those 2 particular cars can spawn and the rest can't when they are sharing the same folder...

 

From what I read in forums is the same thing over and over that the game somehow isn't able to locate the vehicles in question but i mean I know for a fact I'm not misspelling the vehicles' model name so I got no clue my friend #feelsbadman

I can only think of two possibilities:

 

1) You made a mistake at some point.

 

2)  Something was changed in the most recent GTA update.

 

However, the forum isn't flooded with topics about add-on cars not working, so I don't believe it's the latter.  I advise removing all of your standalone cars, and two by two readding them.  After adding two, go into your game and see if they work.

So I tried removing all addons and loading the game, only default DLC cars in the rpf left and it turns out none of the cars (jester2,ratloader2,etc...) from mpchristmas2 are spawning for some reason and obviously I didn't delete any default lines for those cars at all for the addons I simply added more lines belonging to the addon cars.

Well even if that is the case that particular "general" vehicles.meta for that path really doesn't have anything to do with addon cars that I'm messing with at the moment so it's unlikely that could be related I don't think. Appreciate you trying to help me though <3 !!

Update: Right after testing the default dlc cars mpxmas2 and being unsuccessful spawning them I tried spawning another dlc car from a different pack mpvalentines2's Btype3 and it spawned. So I assummed the folder was good to use and did what kallus suggested by placing only 2 addon cars in it (police5 and 6), launched the game and then none of them spawned not even Btype3 anymore "invalid model" kept showing...

 

Needless to say I'm confused af LOL; anyways guys at least I got some help today regarding this bizarre "malfunction" I'll check back on this post in some hours, game gave me enough of a headache already so crashing it is have a good night guys!

Alright well today I took the liberty of getting Albo's DLC modding pack so simply put and for anyone who reads this unfamiliar to what it is, basically all it does is add a brand new DLC folder to your dlcpacks and adds another line in the dlclist.xml file to ensure the game reads this new folder and is able load its contents. Now after doing that, and of course getting a proper gameconfig (thanks to Kallus) and pasting all the car entry lines in the metas I still can't spawn my vehicles and once again my "fbi3" and "fdchief" vehicles can spawn even though they're all in the same folder as the rest of the addons. I think this problem has me beat but for what I've done so far I guess something has to do with the vehicle files themselves I just don't know why the game can't read them. metas should be okay since FBI3 and FDCHIEF lines are there as well and these 2 cars are totally okay.

Are you positive the other vehicles.meta and carvariation lines for these addon cars are actually in your game?  Go into OpenIV and navigate to where you have them installed.  You can double click on files to view them.  Just verify everything is there, including the vehicles in vehicles.rpf

Yes my friend like I said since I relocated all addon-related files to the new folder I went to:  ...x64/dlcpacks/MODDING/dlc.rpf/common/data------- then double clicked carvars for a preview and all lines are showing up same for vehicles.meta in ....levels/gta5/   this is truly bizarre lol

 

 

Kallus can vehicle files get corrupted?

Nevermind just installed every car separately one by one (addon not default cuz i know those are working) went to the winrar car folder I have for every carmod I've downloaded, extracted the files, looked into the vehicles.meta it came with if any then copypasted that into my meta accordingly just to make sure I didn't make mistakes on the entries and obviously renamed everything to its respective car and after all this my game still doesn't recognize most of my addon cars except for the same 2 it always spawns fdchief and fbi3. Like I legit think it's time to give it up because in the internet not a person has been able to fix this issue and all videos about it only show how to fix it when it happens to the online-only cars to avoid being spawned in single player or some dumb thing like that completely unrelated to my issue.

has to be a meta file issue. You could pastebin those here (carvariations.meta and vehicles.meta).

And you were not wrong at all my friend indeed it was. I just finished examining thoroughly the vehicles.meta after hours at it, because I knew for a fact carvars was flawless and I found the problem apparently at some point I duplicated the <TextRelationships> chunk of lines and it was sitting somewhere in the middle of the vehicles.meta LOL of course the game was being unable to read all the vehicles past that point because for it that was the end of the entries so I get it now! Anyways thanks a lot for the support and help that's why I love this community :D
