There are a lot of essential mods that, in my opinion, are a must have.   However, it really comes down to personal preference and what you want your game to be like.   You could make your game similar to mine in terms of the plugins, but you may not like it.  The best advice I have is to browse the mods section here and on http://gta5-mods.com/ to look and see what mods are available to use. :)

This.  I use ENBs, NaturalVision, all of Albo's mods...my game is fully modded out.  I even use speedometer and a fuel mod.
