ELS Controller Mapping Help

So I just started using a controller to play, and everything works fine except for the fact that I go into blackout mode at night when attempting to pull people over using A (Xbox Controller). How do I make it so that is disabled on the controller? Thanks

To my knowledge you can't. There's three alternatives:

1)  Press A to blip the person, then press A again to disable blackout mode.

2) Turn on your lights, then hit A to blip them.

3) Use the keyboard to blip.

Alright. Thank you for your response. I'll try that.

I just searched for the same thing and i had a relatively "easy" solution for me.

Maybe it works for you too. I just make sure that i have equipped no weapon before entering the car. That way i'll flick people off when using Left Shoulder/Bumper on my Controller, then i rebound the key for activating a traffic stop to "LeftShoulder" in the keys.ini of LSPDFR. None of my other mods uses LeftShoulder as a key and i don't mind flicking people off before conducting the trafficstop to let them know they did something bad. xD

TL;DR: Go into the "lspdfr" folder and open keys.ini -> Change TRAFFICSTOP_START_ControllerKey=A to TRAFFICSTOP_START_ControllerKey=LeftShoulder or any other Controllerkey you don't use anywhere else.

PS.:Also if you want to unbind an ELS-Key completely, so that it uses no key at all (if you don't need something, like the keyboardcontrol for "Blackout" because i don't blackout like that. I do it manually) the number used for "None" is 0. For me it worked.

Hope it helps you.
