Anyone wanna give me their visualsettings file? My lights are very very bright. I'm running redux.

also anyone ever use the dismemberment mod. Can't seem to find the right file to place that in.

and can someone tell me how to add more police slots so I can have a variety of sheriff and police vehicles?

1)  Extract the visualsettings to your desktop and find "car.defaultlight.emissive.on".  There is a day and night option.  Just lower the numbersm save, click edit mode in OpenIV, drag the visualsettings back in, hit edit mode again, and you're good.

 

2) No clue, check the download page and the readme.  I guarantee it says how to install.

Dismemberment mod says to install in "scripts I assume that's the plugins folder where you use ragehook to manually load scripts but they don't work.

No, by scripts they mean scripts folder.  If you don't have one, in your main directory, create a new folder and name it scripts all lowercase.

You could use RDE 3.1 for extra slots as well , that's all I really use it for.

Btw I put a new folder called "scripts" (no quotes) in my root folder and it's still not working. Maybe it's a broken mod.

 

regarding the light problem, I changed the emissive night down to 1000 (from 1500) lights are still too..... what's the word, bloomy? There's just too much color radiating off the lights themselves. I can barely see a vehicle during a pursuit. So I downloaded someone's mod called "realistic radiance" I believe, and now they are not bloomy enough hahaa. Gotta love modding right?

Definitely, It's hard to find a mod that  suits your preferences. Maybe the dismemberment mod is not compatible with the recent GTA, not entirely sure.  You could check the file comments on the mod download page.
