Hello everyone, I'm new user on this forum and I have a big problem with LSPDFR.

 

My problem is that whatever I try, I just can't load LSPDFR when I'm in game. Every time I try to load LSPDFR I get some exception thrown. I tried everything to fix this problem and nothing works.  Only thing installed is LSPDFR and RPH and I followed albo's videos on youtube to do it. When I tick on RPH to load LSPDFR with the game, nothing happens. When I try to to load it manually with console, I get an exception. Can someone help me? What am I doing wrong? I'll provide my log with this post.

 

Also, funny thing is, before I reinstalled the game, I had different kind of exception, but now it's something about protected memory. I have 16GB of RAM and when I'm playing GTA5, it doesn't even use half of it.

Already tried that thing with Creators Update and it doesn't work.

 

This was not an issue before. First time I installed Rage/LSPDFR was about 9 months ago and it worked perfectly. After few months I stopped playing GTA5 and deleted it from my computer. I wanted to give another shot at this great mod and play it again but I can't play it now. "Normal" GTA5 is working like a charm, but when I try to play LSPDFR, I get this exception.

The memory errors are often thrown by your computer, and according to your log, the issue is with key inputs.  Do me a favor, please uninstall Rage and LSPDFR entirely.  Then install RagePluginHook from the Rage website and try loading into the game via Rage to see if it works.

It works but it also worked before. I can always get in the game but when I try to load LSPDFR with console, I get that exception. If I try to tick LSPDFR in settings to load instantly with the Rage, I can get in the game but LSPDFR doesn't get loaded with it. I'm kinda at the dead end, really have no idea what to do.

With LSPDFR installed, go into your GTA directory-->plugins.  Right click LSPD First Response.dll-->properties.  Now uncheck "read only mode".  Do the same for LSPD First Response.pdb.

It's already unchecked.

Yes, LSPDFR is the only plugin I have installed. I was trying to go through albo's videos one by one and install everything like he does but I eventually got stuck on the first video because I can't even load LSPDFR in GTA5.

I don't know how your keyboard looks, but that might be the problem.

Well my keyboard has US layout, it's just set to Croatian in windows. I can switch it to English and then try to start the game.

Double click and start Rage.  When the logo appears, click the gear icon in the lower left.  Once the Rage settings open, go to the advanced settings tab and make sure nothing there is checked.  If it's enabled, disable it.

Everything is disabled on the advanced settings tab.

I'm not too sure, tbh.  I have a suspicion it has something to do with the language difference.  Have you installed anything else, anything that might help you understand the game or would translate for you?

No, I don't have anything like that installed because I don't need it. My windows are on English(United States) and I don't see how Croatian keyboard can affect any game. And when I change my keyboard in windows on English layout, I still get the same error.

 

It seems like I will not be able to play this great mod after all.

Ok, after few days of trying various things with this, I think there is a solution. I don't know why, but running GTA5 in compatibility mode for Windows Vista (Service Pack2) fixed the issue. I'm not getting any errors or exceptions.
