Hello, I have a problem whit lcpdfr. When I start the game at the top of the screen I read "error in script lcpdfr_loader.loader" and the mod doesn't  start, but lcpdfr diagnostic tool doesn' t report everythings. I have the same  problem with lcpdfr 1.1 and lcpdfr 1.0d. How can I fix this error? I have already installed a lot of microsoft files but it don' t work.  This is the log file of the diagnostic tool:

    Many people had this error already so I go ahead and post you some links of there topics. Also, make sure you tried to set the compatibility mode in gtaiv.exe, gta4Browser and gtaEncoder to windows 7 or windows 8. Make also sure you have everything installed what LCPD:FR requires.

    mmmmh, I don't fix this error  because I have already read these post, then I give other info:

    I use the patch 1.0.7.0 for gta4

    I have installed lcpdfr

    I have installed the version of lcpdfr 1.1 but I have the same problem with the 1.0d, either by manual installation or with the automatic installation

    I run the game as an administrator

    I have installed a lot of microsoft programs: a lot of microsoft visual studio x64 and x86

    When I run lcpdfr diagnostic tool the only one error is "failed to write the log file acces to (my directory of gta4) is deined. "

    lcpdfr is installed in the game directory

    I don't have other mods over lcpdfr

    lcpdfr_loader.loader is only in the script folder and not in the game folder

    I use xliveless because I have other errors if I use dsound

    I try to fix this error from 2 months and I read a lot of post in support request of your web site but I don't fix it

    please have you got other solutions?

    I assume that your script loader doesn't work since there are no log files that have been created

     

    But I need you to make sure 100% that you have installed the right Microsoft software before we go ahead and search for other reasons for the error

    Try the following solutions...

     

    1. Try running the installer as administrator

    2. Install the newest scripthook --> http://www.dev-c.com/gtaiv/scripthook/

    3. Make sure you run your game as an Admin and that no Antivirus is blocking LCPD:FR

    4. Make sure you tried to switch compatibilitymode of GTAIV.exe, gtaEncoder.exe and gta4Browser.exe to win 8 or win7

    5. try to repair ''Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5'' and ''Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012'' in Programm and Features

    6. Try  reinstalling  .NET framework

    7. and the last option would be to reinstalling your game and LCPD:FR

     

    ...sadly this error could be cost by nearly everything

    Make sure you have all the requirements installed in order to run LCPDFR 1.1 and GTAIV as well, 

     

    It happened to me multiple times, but I fixed by myself, I was missing some requirements in order to let scriptsHook works.

     

    Make sure you installed all the necessary requirements(see screenshot below)
