RPH Will not load into story mode

So when I load RPH, it starts to load from Steam. It then says," this is taking longer than usual. It then stops loading and a message comes up saying "

GTAVLauncher.exe failed to start.

Please try again. If the problem persists, please restart your computer."

I've re-installed the social club installer and removed the mods folder but nothing.I've also tried launching GTA 5 without RPH and it won't launch at all like it won't even try.I have Steam version by the way.I can attach my RPH Settings but not the log as the log is started after GTA 5 has launched.

RagePluginHook.log

This is interesting.  Previously a lot of users were reporting LSPDFR taking too long to load, which caused crashes.  In some of those cases, the issue was that their anti virus updated and they hadn't updated.  Wasi, please be my tester for this and check your anti virus for any updates.  If there is one, update.  If there isn't, temporarily disable your anti virus and launch via Rage to see if it works.

Well, I have Windows Defender. That's the only anti-virus program I have. Windows Defender has been causing me alot of trouble with adding virus and malware to exclusions so I un-ticked real time protection and the exclusions came back so I'm going to get loads of annoying popups. And no.... it didn't work RPH still crashed immediately.

If you launch as administrator do you get the same result?

If you're talking about GTA 5 , I can't because it's the steam version, actually... I could launch Steam with run as admin.

You can also right click RagePluginHook.exe and run as admin.

Hah!That worked. I closed Steam completely and re loaded it with run as admin then I loaded RPH with elevated privileges and it works as of now.Look at second monitor .

Thanks for testing this for me. :)  I'll see if it works for the other folks who have reported it as well.
