The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Mods folder not recognized?

I jumped into my game today after a could days of not being on. It said EUP not installed and put the vanilla cars are back in game but when I pull up OpenIV and my mods folder, my car mods are still there its just not coming up in game. I haven't touched the game for a couple days and it worked fine the last time I played aside from the usual crash here or there.

Any idea what the issue would be?

    Remove HeroCop as well, please.

  • Make sure Edit Mode is on Otherwise you are already in your mods folder or you didnt install it via ASI Manager

In OpenIV, click tools --> ASI Manager.  Make sure OpenIV,asi is installed.  If it is installed, try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

 

It may also come down to you needing to remove your mods folder from the GTA directory, load into your game, exit, then put the folder back in.  Finally, remember it needs to be named mods all lowercase.

So I've done all of the above you mentioned, nothing works. It's like it is ignoring all of my mods, cars, lspdfr, anything extra that loads. Game loads fine.

Please take a screenshot of your main directory and just inside the mods folder (not the entire thing, just after you click into it).

And LSPDFR crashes as soon as it loads as well.

You should not have "scripts", "dlc", or "common".  When you go into the vanilla files in OpenIV, it will prompt you to create this path in the mods folder, and it will make the full path.  You seem to only have bits and pieces.  To start off, please delete "scripts", "dlc", and "common".  See if that fixes it.

Ok, did that. Just keeping you up to date.... when the game loads, it say EUP L&O isn't installed... yes it is, I installed it, twice. Then I close the game via the pause menu, game closes then it tells me the game closed unexpectedly...

It even does that for me sometimes.  I haven't installed the new EUP, and I don't even know what the install of it is like.  Could you hop back in game please (via Steam or Rage) and verify if anything in your mods folder works?  I'm curious if removing those fixed it.

Nothing, no cars ect. Some plugins work via RPH. I load lspdfr, it immediately crashes or says "blocked". Usually a reload of the plugin will get it back up but still crashes.

Go into your GTA V directory / plugins.  Right click LSPD First Response.dll / properties.  Does it give you the option to unblock?  If yes, unblock it.

 

If no, try adding GTA as an exception in your anti-virus and firewall.

Didn't change anything. Still crashes LSPDFR. Still advises that EUP is not installed ect.

Removing HeroCop corrected the LSPDFR issue, thank you! I can't read let alone understand any of the RPH logs and ect. Any thoughts as to why my vehicles and EUP aren't loading?

You're welcome. :) You should be good to add back in Agency Callouts.   I'm not sure why your mods folder would suddenly not be read.  You can try and move the mods folder out of your GTA directory, load into the game, exit, then put the mods folder back in and see if that helps.

 

If not, you may want to try remaking the mods folder. Or, at the very least, making a new, basic mods folder, adding in one replacement vehicle and seeing if that solves it.

Yeah, I've taken it out and put it back in, still no fix. I'll keep trying things. Let me know if you come up with another option. Thanks!
