When I upload cars yes I include the YTD file. Even when I first installed the game the normal sheriff slot came up like this.

Where are you installing these files?

When you double click the .yft in OpenIV, are you seeing the vehicle as it should be? or is it still messed up?

and you're using a mods folder, correct?

Do me a favor, please, and go replace the other instances of the sheriff slots and see if that makes a difference.

Yes I am using a Mods folder, I have sheriff 2 replaced with a LOS ANGELES CO SHERIFF VEHICLE (TAHOE) and that looks exactly how it should look.

With it happening to even your vanilla Sheriff, I can't help but wonder if you're missing something.  Please temporarily move your mods folder onto your desktop and launch the game.  If the Sheriff slot looks normal, there's a problem in your mods folder.

If the Sheriff slot is still broke, it's a problem with your vanilla files.

If it were the Mods folder or vanilla files how would I fix those?

Lets cross that bridge when we figure out which is the problem. :)

As far as what?

As far as modding.  If you haven't changed anything else except installing this vehicle, you've done something incorrectly with the installation,

I can advise two things:

1) Look through your patchdays and x64e in the mods folder.  Replace all instances of sheriff.

2) Redo your mods folder.
