Police lights causing crash

Experiencing a crash with the lights on emergency vehicles

At first i thought it was just ELS causing the problem but after i removed all ELS files i an still encountering the same problem

I hope someone can decipher this and point me in the right direction as to what the problem is

Hi there.

 

We cannot read that log.  In your main GTA V directory is RagePluginHook.txt/.log, please attach that.

 

What did you add/change with your game prior to this occurring?

the last thing i added before this crash was

t0y's BCSO pack and MTL Ladder truck by wolf senpai

actually it was this fire truck

MTL Botlle Nose Ladder 15EX Truck 1.0.2

I've previously installed this truck and haven't had any issues with it, so not sold on that being the problem.  Does it only crash when the lights are on?

the lights never come on i hear the clicks for the lighting stages but nothing ever comes on the game just crashes

You mentioned that you had removed ELS and tried.  I'm assuming it's installed again?   If so, please post screenshots of your GTA directory including the ELS folder and pack_default folder.

no i have not installed it again because my game was still crashing when i tried to use the lights on a non els car

Temporarily move your mods folder onto your desktop and lets verify if it's something in that folder or a different issue.

I moved my mods folder to the desktop and still same issue

Then the issue is with something else in your directory.  What all do you have installed?  Not counting what is in the mods folder.

I have a folder in my directory named scripts and in that folder is ELS is that correct?

That might be the problem.  The ELS folder should be in the main GTA directory.

just to be clear els belongs in the directory and the scripts folder (at least mine) is empty

Yes.  Scripts folder should be empty.
