Hello, can anyone suggest or help me understand why my game crashes when I try to enter ANY FBI2 vehicle? I've tried numerous FBI2 vehicles and even the default one and yet it still crashes.

 

I've also tried to revert my .metas to default and even put the default FBI2 in and it still crashes. Why is it happening?

You might have to delete your mods folder and then create a new clean one and try it without any mods

Are you using LeFix's speedometer or fuel mod?

Gosh I think I'd rather live without fbi2 than do that :p my game runs perfect until I actually try to enter the vehicle.. Maybe I'll just do that.. forever.. haha

Do you have any type of modded vehicle handling, or any mod that would be specific to fbi2?

Everything is changed back to default. I'm literally stumped.

Hey No Name Set, I have not done your plan of action as it will remove all my car mods, and that is something I cannot be bothered reinstalling again, lol.

EUP, Police Scanner, Arrest Manager, Police Smart Radio, Assorted Callouts, Traffic Policer and LSPDFR+

By the way, thank you both for your ongoing support. This has me stumped. Of course the easy way is to completely remove my mods folder and reinstall, but you know.. I really would like to find this problem just for the sake of finding it and solving it. More rewarding :)

Did you edit the vehiclelayouts.meta at all?

That would be the cause of it. :)  Had another user a week or two ago who was having the same problem.  Replace yours with the vanilla vehiclelayouts and you should be good.

Hello I just thought I'd tell you that vehiclelayouts.meta reverted to default has fixed my fbi2 vehicle. Thank you for your efforts!
