GTA V re-downloading itself after installing LSPDFR

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I just installed LSPDFR, with a whole bunch of callout mods and the Entity persistance mod (I can provide a full list if needed), but when i go to start GTA, it tries to download nearly 70GB. Bearing in mind i average about 650KBS on my internet, it'll probably take the whole month for me to get through that download. Yesterday i finished downloading the initial updates and stuff after you install it (I'm running the Retail version, not the Steam one), so there shouldn't be anything else for it to download. I've tried adding -scOfflineOnly to the Commandline file, but it still tries to do the update. WHat's worse is that the update restarts every single time i close the launcher, so i'll be forced to do it in one sitting.. On 650KBS.

I really need help here guys.

Thanks.

It usually does that when a necessary game file is missing. Something must have gotten corrupted or accidentally replaced when you were installing something. You're probably going to have to let it do the download for it to work again.
