Traffic Stop - Tapping Horn makes offender take off

Featured Replies

Hello! Been a long time player of LCPDFR and just getting into LSPDFR.

So, I notice that when I initiate a traffic stop, and I want the offending car to move to a different spot and I tap my 'horn' it makes the car take off...they just go in a straight line until they hit something solid. If I disengage the traffic stop, they will stop immediately.

I looked through several pages of the forum and looked on google for information, but I don't know if I'm wording it correctly. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank You

Hi there.  This is a problem with ELS.  In your main GTA V directory, open ELS INI, and look for "ELSTracCTRL", set to false.

Thank you very much for the fast reply! I however kinda have a different problem as the horn now doesn't provoke the vehicle to move to a different spot. Possible key configuration conflict? Thanks again! I appreciate the help!

You're most welcome!  In normal LSPDFR, honking the horn should make them find another spot.  If it's not working, you could try adding  Traffic Policer

Installed it and same thing. Thanks for all your help. I'll do some more digging to see if anyone else has had the same problem.

Well, I suggested traffic policer because it has a mimic me option.  After you get a car pulled over, hit left control + Q. Now the AI will mimic your movements, and you can move them to a better spot.

Ah, I was unaware it had that feature, I didn't see it in the documentation. Thanks! Appears to work great, looks like I need a little practice with it. :) Thanks!!x1000

Traffic Policer has quite a few nice features to it aside from that.  Be sure to check out the documentation and the INI, as the INI tells you the keybinds. :)
