On most newer police cars,when any stage police lights come on the dash cam start recording and the recorder beeps every few seconds to let the cop know it is recording. I was wondering if there was something like that for GTA 5

There is (to my knowledge) only one dash cam mod, but it does not include any audio.  While I like the realism aspect of it, I guarantee you it'll become annoying fast and people will complain about it, or turn it off in the INI.  Really no point to it unless it is modified so the beeping is only heard if you're in the dash cam view.  Seems like it'd be a bit too much work, especially when as it is, I don't think dash cam is used a hell of a lot.

In RL my dashcam is hot as soon as I chirp the siren or activate any lights it records the prior 30 secs before activation and 30 secs after being shut down it's what we refer to as a "hot mike" but I have never used a vehicle with a cam system that made an audible noise or anything similar to a code 22 tone.

I don't know if there all like that,But here where i live they are getting new police cars,And some friends of mine that have got some of the new ones,Told me about it.
