ELS causing crash on loading screen

Featured Replies

When I went to launch RageHook and everything this morning, the game crashed from the last loading screen where it shows what is being loaded. Oddly enough, it would load everything successfully and get to the last part where it is trying to start the game and then it froze and stopped working. After a long process of taking all the plugins out of the game and slowly implementing them one at a time, I figured out that the ONLY thing that is causing the freeze and crash on the loading screen is when the ELS Folder is in the directory. I was able to put everything else into the directory having to do with ELS, but the minute I put the ELS folder in that holds all the VCF's, the game would freeze and crash on the loading screen. I also turned off all the microsoft gaming stuff in the settings having to do with the Windows 10 Creators update. Hopefully someone can enlighten me as to why this is happening. I also reinstalled ELS all together and even just put one VCF that I know has worked in game before and crash. Thanks for any help!

Remove the Els plugin and see if gta 5 loads in normally

I did and it works without the ELS folder in the directory. The problem is then I don't have any ELS. I was wondering if there was any solution.

I solved the problem. Turns out that in the pack that I downloaded, one of the ELS VCF's was paired with the wrong vehicle. It was a 2014 marked charger and it was paired with the 2016 charger  ELS VCF. I appreciate your efforts though. Thanks for replying
