HUGE texture bug. Help!

Featured Replies

It starts when I was trying to uninstall the "MegaRealisticCarPack" (because I'm not good installing any type of mod).

I deleted the files and some error appears when I start the game: "failed zlib call".

I checked the data cache on Steam and Steam re-downloaded some files.

I ran the game, I walk in-game and I have this texture bug.

What can I do? If I don't have to reinstall the entire f*cking game, better.
Thanks.

nice bug tho.mp4

Christ, hell of a bug. When you were uninstalling the mod you may have deleted a essential file for GTA V. I don't quite know what you would've deleted, but whatever it was made your system go . I would suggest a complete re installation of GTA and use the mods folder next time so this doesn't happen again. You could create a folder on your desktop and drag and drop some of the non messed up mods and dump them in there so you don't have to go back and re install everything.

I'd suggest NOT using the big mega car pack. Loads of these car packs don't have any LODs and are poorly made with polygon counts usually over 200k. I'd bet that's what the issue is.
