Run two copies of LSPDFR?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Would like to be able to play as UK Police and US police. Is there a way I can have two LSPDFR installations, and if so, how to do it?

Thank you,

qwerty

Using the Mods folder.  One for US and one for UK.  Then swap them based on the country you'd like to play that day.

So would I just rename one mods folder "mods1 etc" when plating as a different force? will it not break my GTA V installation or confuse OpenIV?  what about things ,like ELS?

ELS is universal, that doesn't change between US or UK.

Keep both UK and US Mods folder outside of GTA V main directory.  Keep both names as 'Mods' or else it won't work.  Then drag either UK or US Mods folder into your GTA V main directory depending on which you want to play.

Mods folder will typically contain your uniforms, cars, sirens, etc.  Basically anything that will be different between the two different countries.

Thanks a lot buddy. You're sure it won't break anything? Its just that last time I tried to do something like that it mucked up my GTA and I had to scrap the mods folder :-/

thanks for your time :-)

That's what I do.  It won't break anything if you install mods correctly.  Basically you will mod your game for UK, then copy and paste the Mods folder somewhere safe outside of GTA 5.  Then mod the Mods folder for US, copy and paste it somewhere else again for backup.
