Game freezes when enabling console (F4)

Featured Replies

Everytime that I press F4 to open the Rage Plugin Hook Console, the game freezes, but when I press F4 again its running again normally, its like the console is there but not showing up.
I tried almost everything. Like running RPH as administrator, I made a whole clean GTA V folder and only ran RPH but still the same problem.
I'll put the RPH log and my RPH config file with this message, I hope you'll know a solution! (Sorry for my bad English btw :))

I wish I could stay around and try to help you, but I can't. I will at least post the following for you to try.

Launch RagePluginHook, and click on the config settings icon under the RAGE logo.  Then go into the last tab named Game settings. Click the down arrow next to Command line switches and place a check in the following boxes ''Force DirectX 11'' and ''Force Windowed Mode''

then click Save and launch

or try the following (credit goes to @ossion  ):

Go into your Windows settings and click on the gaming option.

On the first tab called Game Bar, uncheck/turn everything off.

On the Game DVR, do the same thing by unchecking/turning everything off except for the last option of Capture your mouse cursor while recording.

Try launching RagePluginHook, Try F4 to see if your issue is fixed.

Good luck to you

They both work!
What I think is that windows gives the Game DVR a higher priority then RPH. That results in that the overlay of RPH is not visible but its still enabled, so my conclusion is to turn game DVR off. But if you like to use Game DVR and play with RPH at once, you need to do the first option you said. After the startup you can put it back in full screen mode and it works properly, but you need to start with windowed mode!
Thanks for your help Kal74.
