having startup problems

so i just put in my lcpdfr and when i go to steam and press play first it comes up social club then when i press by the window play it instead it tarn off the whole entire game

plz help

Hi,

The problem is Rock Star social club doesn't works, it is a common issue for anyone who play GTA IV, only if you want to play LIVE (online), then you have to working on social 

 

club, but if not:

 

Please remove "paul.dll" file to your desktop and create a folder for backup, then download xlives, copy all the xlives file expect "Readme" to your GTA IV game folder, then, 

 

click play at steam or right click on "LanuchGTAIV exe" run as admin. 

 

But make sure you downgrade to 1.0.7.0
