In 4 days, a new update for GTA Online is coming. I would like to still be able to play the game.

My my question is: What files do i need to backup, and how do i prevent steam not to update GTA V? is it enough just to make a backup of RGH, and just revert to the backup version? and what about ScriptHookV.

If you're on steam, its usually enough to have a backup of RPH. When you load RPH after the update comes out, RPH will give you a big popup message telling you the current game version is not supported, but a supported version is in the backup, do you want to revert? Click yes and it'll roll back what it needs to let you keep playing (you might need to restart RPH after it rolls back)

I'm just getting back into all this for the first time today, I've installed a gun sound mod, ENB mod, and RDE 3.0.

 

After installing all my mods I JUST got hit with a 30 minute long 4GB update..........................

 

Are you fucking serious? Is there some way to permanently disable all updates on GTA and play offline with no internet connection? This is getting rediculous! I just spent $450 repairing my laptop, spent the last 3 hours installing mods, and right as I hit play theres a fuckin update.....
