LCPDFR and the RESC 10 Error?

Featured Replies

Hi folks.

Well up until recently I was able to play LCPDFR just fine. I have multiple custom cars, skins, etc. The game ran just fine. I also had ENB and the custom timecyc installed.

However now, it seems whenever I start LCPDFR and run to the police station, I get the RESC 10 "Out of video memory" error whenever I go into the red blip and try to enter the police station. This happens on the loading screen.

I had never had this problem until I had uninstalled ENB and the custom timecyc. I now use the default timecyc and no ENB. The graphic settings menu shows that I'm only using ~300/1024mb of video memory.

If it's worth noting, I can start GTA IV, play it for hours, then Do Cntrl + Alt + F12 and force myself on duty and the game will run just fine. I seem to only have a problem when I'm entering the police station.

My specs:

AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core @ 2.5ghz

8gb DDR2 RAM

nVidia GTS 450 - 1gb DDR5 RAM

Like I said everything worked fine until I uninstalled ENB. I have not added any new models since. Any ideas?

try using a "commandline". it forces your pc to use more of the memory onto your CPU. so textures should appear.

you can also try reinstalling your game if the commandline doesn't work.

Any suggestions on what to put in the commandline? I think I already have one but I'm not 100% sure, i'll check on it.

EDIT: Yep I have one. It's:

-memrestrict 314572800

-noprecache

I can't reinstall the game because I lost the original disks..
