Hi

 

I've been playing GTA V LSPDFR for the past week now without any problems and I'm really enjoying it, but for some reason I came to play the game about 10 minutes ago and it comes up with

 

"GTAVLauncher.exe exited unexpectedly

 

Please try again. If the problem persists, please restart your computer."

 

I did that and nothing.

So I clicked on Steam, downloaded the update. then I downloaded Albo1125 troubleshooter and ran that, said I had 3 errors, fixed them, ran the troubleshooter again and it now say's there are no errors found.

Restarted my pc, tried the game again via Rage and it still comes up with the GTAVLauncher.exe exited unexpectedly.

It even say's that when I try to run the game through Steam and not Rage.

 

How do I fix this?

Download and install the latest version. 

Worked for me and I'm playing again.

then when i download it do I move it to gta 5 folder

 

No mate, it should be an .exe application so just run it and it'll install itself to the required folder. Well it did with me anyway.

It is the "Download Rockstar Games Social Club Version 1.2.1.4" version you downloaded wasn't it?

then I downloaded 1.2.1.4. and it just installed and told me to click close

 

then I ran rage and it still did not work

it said it went to program x86/rock star/ social club folder

That's where it went to on my PC and the game ran straight away after installing.

Might possibly be another problem/bug that you are experiencing.

The only other thing I can think of is it might be a bad mod you downloaded, try and remove them one by one, starting with the most recent ones you downloaded.

Also, post a thread on here maybe someone might be able to help you, I just got lucky with my solution, I'm not really that good with things like these.

I'm having the same exact issue. I was away from LSPDFR for the last few months. Got motivated to start the PC back up and knew I needed to update quite a bit. I downloaded the latest Update for GTAV and the latest LSPDFR. The issue began with Rage not supporting the current game version (the one included with the newest LSPDFR). So, I downloaded the latest Rage and tried it. Rage starts up then after loading a few seconds, pops up with the "GTAV has exited unexpectedly". However, Social Club still opens, logs in, and runs all the way to the title menu. If I try to play Story Mode, it crashes. If I attempt to play only GTAV without Rage, it crashes. When I uninstall LSPDFR, the game runs perfectly. I've re downloaded everything more than once. Same thing everytime. The best I can come up with, LSPDFR simply messes up the actual game. I'm stuck and have no clue as to what to do. 

 

I run Windows 10.
