I had followed all the instructions on the "Read This First" post and for some reason the game won't start. If I click the applictation file tthrough either C:\ or through "games" folder in startup menu I keeping getting a cmd window and then it tells me GTA IV has stopped working. I've even run it as Admin. If it helps, I installed the GTA IV, LCPDFR, ELS and added a police car.

Try uninstalling the ELS and the modded police car. Then try launching the game, if the issue continues, then use the tool I linked above, and post the results in here.

Although, it says version 1, 0, 0, 0 I know i went to the link and downloaded the 1.0.7.0 file and installed it.

I've got it, they need to edit that support post to say all programs need to be runned as admin. If there is a way to close this thread, then I'd like it closed.
