Change car classification

Featured Replies

Hey all,

is there a way I can change the classification of a car?

For instance I have installed all my cars based on NSW Australia which is essentially General Duties and Highway Patrol.

I would like to classify a car as either one or the other. Mainly so if I start a pursuit with someone I can call for Highway Patrol backup opposed to just whoever joins in.

Also is there a way of changing the default transport car in arrest manager? I would like to set it so that the vehicle in policet always arrives to transport.

You can disable automatic backup in the .ini (configuration settings) of one of the mods. I don't remember which one, it's either LSPDFR + or Traffic Policer. Check the configuration in those. You can also find the setting to change the model of the car that spawns in the configuration settings of LSPDFR +

Backup.xml in the "lspdfr" folder is where you can specify which backup types respond when selecting "Local" or "State", etc. There is also a folder in plugins/lspdfr/arrestmanager that contains xml's for the transport units that respond. If you want a specific vehicle to respond for a specific area you will edit that there. I can send you screenshots of my setup later today if needed.
