I've been stuck on how to get my els and els vehicles to work and I just seen a video where it says you have to make a scripts folder and paste the files into that folder too. Could this be the reason why I could never get ELS to pop up in game and work with my vehicles?

ELS has a readme, that tells you how to install and use it.

 

Drag and drop all files into your GTA V Directory. When you download a vehicle, put the VCF (will be named sheriff.xml, or police.xml, or police3.xml, etc) into the folder ELS > packs_default.

That's the thing ive done everything that the instructions tell you to do... that's quite simple to follow. I've even reinstalled the game and again tried to install ELS over. Now instead of no lights coming on the lights are lit up and stuck on... and yet again CRTL+P still doesn't do jack!!

I have that and scripthookdotnet installed. The only thing I can think of is the visual c++ thing but I'm pretty sure I downloaded that awhile ago to.
