I had to do a complete reinstall and forgot to take out the edited handling before i uninstalled it, now when i try to edit it and save it, it will only either save as a text document, or it say's that the format will become useless, does anyone know what the problem is?

Go to the file properties, and unselect Read-only option, then it should work:)

it's doesn't have a check mark in the box, whenever i try to save it just saves as open office or open text document.

Have you tried saving it as handling.txt ?

By putting the file extension at the end you are effectively forcing it to save as that format.

Either that or you'll need to tell windows to show file extensions which will allow you to change the format.

even if i have all the files in te directory saved as WordPad?
