since the new update came out and ragehook dont have that latest version. i have backup for the last verison but after i install the old verison. it automatically start downloading newer version.

Same deal here. As soon as I revert back to the last version, GTA V won't launch. It just says "GTA V Launcher Quit Unexpectedly." 

 

I'm assuming we're just gonna have to wait for a new version of Ragehook to come out.

Are you able to launch the social club screen with 1.0.944 version GTA5.exe and GTA5launcher ? (Steam version)

I am having a issue that the game couldn't even launch (or to say launch and disappeared) with backup files

Nope. Once reverted, it will show up but the game itself won't launch; a scripthook error will come up.

I think the problem is because of the social club as I can launch the screen with NEW GTA5launcher and OLD GTA5.exe

 

but still  says GTA V Launcher Quit Unexpectedly

Same here.  Entered -scOfflineOnly into commandline but still forcing the update on me on RAGE start. :(

Mine force updated on me as well, Guess we gotta wait for a new ragehook

I'm glad I'm not the only one having this issue. I've tried it about 5 times, and every single time I revert to the previous game version, it just updates right back to the newer version. Guess we have to wait. 

Does anyone know when they are planning on releasing a new version for Rage?

I just got a message from Rage "GTA V patch v1011 has been released. We're working on support for this version."

 

Hopefully this comes out within the next few days!

For anyone who is trying to revert to the backup and the game is forcing you to update again, what I did is just turn off my wifi and play in offline mode. Seems to work fine for me until they release the next Rage. 

@SoarHawk  I tried that but it won't load the game which is why I am trying to reinstall it but who knows when it will finish. I will definitely try this again once it downloads fully! Thanks!

No problem. It should load... just revert it back to the previous version with Rage, and then turn your wifi off (or whatever method your computer is hooked up to the internet).
