Game crash when loading

Featured Replies

So been having this issue for quite some time now, whenever I try to start up GTA V through the RPH executable, the game crashes as soon as the game window shows up. I'm basically extremely desperate here, trying to get LSPD:FR to work.

I dont have an antivirus, I've reinstalled the game, I have verified the files, I even turned windows firewall off (I dont know why, just to see if it'll work), I've updated my Windows to see if that helps, I've ran RPH as an administrator, turned off Directx hook (which is basically useless since no plugin loads in but game opens).

I'm running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit Service Pack 1. Absolutely nothing helps, I've been trying to fix this issue for days, any help would be massively appreciated.

Okay now this might sound stupid but what I want you to do is click on gta 5 first and wait until the black screen comes up and when it does than immediately  start rph. It worked for me. Now also create a file called commandline.txt and put it in your main gta 5 directory folder. Write in the text folder availablevidmem 64.0 or whatever you computers screen resolution  is. And make sure that everything is updated. Now try that and let me know if it works. Hope I helped

When I updated Avast a few months ago I had this problem, black screen would pop up and then game would insta-crash. Had to add an exception to Avast via the control panel.

Yup, I've done all those things at once, even tried all of them seperately, few combinations with a bunch of other solutions that allegedly fix the problem, but no fix in sight. I've been looking for about 5 days now to fix the issue, NOTHING helps. I'll just wait for both RPH and LSPDFR to update.

Thats weird than. I am going to try to look for a better article
