Looking to get new PC

Featured Replies

Ok, I'm looking to get a new computer so I can actually run newer games and mods since mine would barley run GTA 4 lol. Anyone have any suggestions on computers or what to get to run GTA V and add ons good. All I really play is GTA and Battlefield. A link to a computer is welcome lol.

When you see 'well under' 1000 is there a more specific sum of money?

Between 400-500? 600 - 700? and so on.

Also, with a computer that is under $800 you are probably going to end up having to run the game in a lower quality if not the lowest quality - if you are willing to put up with this and the likely freezes and frame-loss then there should be a computer which will accommodate your needs.

What I do suggest though is you consider thinking about saving up more money and then going all out on a computer, consider it an investment into the future, as if you get cheap(ish) computer - in the coming months games are going to come out that the computer will be unable to run at lowest quality.

🕵️‍♂️ Always watching, always waiting.

Sorry for not getting back to you, I usually receive notifications but for some reason I'm not.

$985 is a fair amount.

Here's something I quickly threw together: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/VcfMD8

$676.36 not including a case, peripherals, or an operating system. It'd be fine for GTA V and Battlefield - should be able to run most new releases comfortably.

The only thing I'm not keen on is the I5-6500 but it was the first thing that came to mind.

With 985 dollars you can get a really nice set up.

I spent 380 for computer, GPU, and monitor

I run GTA v with very high/ultra graphics with no lag.

I'm getting MSI after burner to see my frame rate
