Cars arent loading. DLC folder doesn't have patchday13ng file

Featured Replies

So I've tried following others advice in installing some modded ELS cars for use with LSPDFR. However as I went to install them, I noticed that my dlc file did not have the "patchday13ng" file. I was trying to install the ELS LSPD pack by t0y. All of his models required putting the modded vehicle files into the "patchday13ng". I have els installed and it works with the models that I replaced in that i can activate the light stages but they are still the standard police models from the vanilla game. When I open up the vehicle files in OpenIV they are the modded versions. Is there a way to fix this? I tried downloading the patch itslef to install and placed them in the newly added patchday13 file. The path to it is: GTA V>mods>update>update.rpf>dlc_patch>patchday13ng>dlc.rpf>x64>levels>gta5>vehicles.rpf

If there's any work around this please let me know. I did back up before doing this of course. Thank you.

What is the highest patchday you have?  Use that one, and make sure it has a vehicles.rpf.

The path should be mods-->update-->x64-->dlcpacks.  The path that you used is incorrect.

The highest one i have is 5, then 3 then 1 and none of them have a vehicles.rpf. My x64 doesn't have the dlcpacks, its in the same area that I would select it.

Go into update-->x64-->dlcpacks.  How many dlc packs are here?

Based off this, your game is missing a lot of files.  In Steam, right click GTA, properties, local files, verify integrity of game cache.

All files we successfully verified.  I have 28 updates in my dlc file its just in the wrong order it seems and i don't know how to get around that.

That's not a big deal, as long as you have them.  Just use the very latest patchday that has a vehicles.rpf.

So I decided to check the non-mod folder update folder and it has patchday13 and is in the order you mentioned earlier. Should I recreate the mods folder to fix that?

When you go into patchday 13 in the non-mod folder, right click dlc.rpf.  You should see an option to "copy to mods folder".
