Traffic Policer and Mimic

Featured Replies

I've seen other posts about the mimic feature not working via Traffic Policer and most of the issues were due to not using / knowing the right buttons to hit. Sadly for me this is not the case and I've never been able to utilize this feature, My INI has the default keys so im using L Ctrl + Q, I get the notification that the "vehicle is now mimicking me" however when I move, the Vehicle that I have stopped just stays stopped, this has never worked for me. I've tried everything from re-installing all mods & GTA (for other issues too), to re-installing the plugin, RPH and using Albo's troubleshooter, all which have never got this working. I'm not sure if this is an issue directly related to the plugin or not, as I've not seen really anyone else report this. Using the follow feature or setting a custom location works fine, so I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on what might be wrong or how I can get this working. Please let me know if I should provide anything, thanks!

There's no reason it shouldn't work if other features of the plugin work.   Have you tried driving ahead further?  Not just moving up a few feet, maybe driving a block to see if it's working?

Wow, nice tip! This actually worked for me, I never really tried that before, I guess my impression on how it worked was that the second you started to move it would as well. At least that's how I've seen it, but maybe it responds differently with different settings and on different systems. Nonetheless, thank you!!

For me, the mimic me'd cars don't move instantly, thee is a very slight delay between when I move and they move.

You're welcome. :)
