Hello everyone, this might be a rage plugin hook issue but no one seems to comment on any technical issues on their forum. Every time i try to load LSPDFR from rage it crashes on startup. I had the mod before and worked fine but after a clean download it doesn't want to work for me. I am only running the lspdfr plugin without anything else downloaded to it. I checked my rage plugin text file and it doesn't show much for me. I am posting the Screenshots of my game's files and the RPH logs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Launch GTA V normally.  Once in game, alt tab out and open Rage.  What happens?

It crashes either way I try. If I launch GTA V normally it works but once I try loading rage it'll immediately crash

Go into whatever anti virus you're using and add GTA V as an exception, then try again.

 

If that doesn't work, please take screenshots of your GTA V directory.

Okay I'll try that when I get back to my computer. As for the screenshots of my GTA directory, that is in the original post in the imgur gallery

Oh right, I even saw that. My apologies, just woke up a bit ago.

 

Take your time, I'll be here all day. 

 

For starters, go ahead and remove your SDK folder as well.  This is more for developers, not average players.

Alrighty I'm back in front of my computer and added GTA to my Anti Virus and Malearebytes exclusion list and unfortunately it still crashes. I went ahead and removed the SDK files though.

Open RagePluginHook.   When it starts to load up, click the gear icon that you'll see in the left corner.  Once Rage is open, look under "Advanced settings."  Disable the option "Enable counter measures against online vehicles from being removed in single player."

I just got done trying that, sadly nothing has changed. I wanted to try hitting the debug button and see if that'll help but since it's warns against doing that I don't think I will

In your directory, you have RagePluginHook.euifl.  Where did you get this from?

I think I got that from either the base mod or allbo's troubleshooter. I'm honestly not sure, but since the only things I've downloaded were rage, lspdfr and allbos troubleshooter. Do I need that file?

 

Edit: I see why you asked since it's today's date. I had rage and lspdfr in a separate folder before I copied them to my directory. Could that be a problem?

I don't believe so, as I have never had it in mine. 

 

When you open Rage, does it say anything in the lower corner about the version being out of date?  Just curious if you downloaded LSPDFR after Rage.

I've actually tried using the one that was with lspdfr before downloading .50 or whichever is the most recent one just to make sure lol I'm going to remove that file and see what happens 

 

edit: I removed it and it just came back after trying to launch rage again so it's coming from rage whenever I start it

I only ask because the Rage that comes bundled with LSPDFR is extremely out of date.

Yeah I think it's a little over a year out of date. I think I'm just SOL for the time being. Thanks so much for all your help

I just now saw your edits, apologies.  It could very well have something to do with moving the files from one directory to another.

 

Have you done this before?

Yes, I had it working up until a few weeks ago. then i had to uninstall GTA to try another game (i have a tiny ssd so have to uninstall and reinstall games frequently) but this is the first time i have had a problem doing it.

Do you move the mods (Rage, LSPDFR, etc) as well?  If so, I would uninstall them both and try again.

I usually just delete them and reinstall when the mood strikes to play again. All i know is, once I get this working, I won't uninstall it again haha the next thing on my list is another ssd and maybe a hard drive but I'll do a fresh install of LSPDFR and Rage again to be safe.
