Hi everyone, i'm trying to find help because i got that car: https://fr.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/lexus-gs-350-police-template-tuning-nfs-handling-sound (i use the addon version cuz my replacer doesn't work) and i find the handling very unrealistic( the car go to 0 from max speed in like 1sec) and i would like to no if it is possible to use a handling file only for that car(and addon car in general).

You can feel free to edit the handling.meta file that comes with the car to suit your style.

Go to where you installed the meta for the car.  Extract the meta to your desktop and open either in Notepad or Notepad++.  Go to the meta line for this car and look at "handlingID". 

 

Other than that, you can't really mess with the car in terms of modding.  Yeah, you can use your trainer's car mods option, but there's nothing really to slow the car down.

Make sure you're using the very latest patchday.

I did,i put the police2 in patchday13 but ingame it's not replaced.

Also try x64e.  If you don't have this in your mods folder, copy it over.

I've had a few people recently say they can't use replacement vehicles, but there was never a clear indication of why. 

 

Make sure you're in edit mode when dragging and dropping, and click edit mode again to turn it off once you've done that.

I saw that, i even check if the model is the good one in OpenIV and it's the good one.

To verify, your standalone car works, right?  In OpenIV, go to tools-->ASI manager.  Make sure ASI loader is enabled.

I got the car in my first post in addon and its working great, ASI loader en OPENIV.ASI are installed

Look through your other patchdays, if you come across files of the same name, replace those.

I replaced all the police2 i could find in the others patchday but its still doesnt work

Verify in x64e that police2 is also your modded car.

 

You're using a mods folder, right?

Yep i'm using a mods folder and yes the car is repalced in x64e.

In OpenIV, uninstall ASI loader, then reinstall it and try again in game.

Didn't work, i'm gonna try launching the game normally and not trought RageHOOK.( even there it dont work)

I'm not sure why your standalone car would be loading, but the replacement wouldn't.  Try using another model for POLICE2.

ALready tryed with a police shelby but it still don't work
