Hello all,

 

As per usual, had the update and my game goes to sh*t. My ELS does not work, just tail lights flash. I run the "plugin update checker" and it tells me my gtav.exe needs to be updated. Thought that was done with the actual update of the game?? I am assuming this has something in common with my ELS not working?

The update was an GTA online update only.  If you look the GTAVlauncher is now 1.0975 and GTAV Launcher remains at 1.0944. This is correct and why everything else still works like Ragehook, Scripthook etc. etc.  There is an issue with the Update Checker, that assumes that every update should update gtav.exe and that isn't true. 

 

As far as ELS goes, my lights all work, but I can't do traffic stops. The AI doesn't seem to be recognizing me turning on the lights and traffic stops are never activated.  Its very odd and I haven't been able to find the issue

For the ELS issue - In OpenIV, go to ASI Manager and uninstall ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI and then click install again to reinstall them. Next, restart your PC, and try loading into the game again and see if that works.

Hah so the same suggestion I have to someone else and I didn't even use it myself. I'll give it a go, thanks
