Anyone know what would cause all my plugins to give a crash message at at start up, but they all still work fine when i get in the game. Below is the Rage Hook log

Please list all plugins you are currently using.  One of them is causing the problem.

Now when I load in the game I get error messages that all my plugins crashed, but they really didn't crash because they all work fine. Another thing that is strange now is that my game is loading in windowed mode every time and it didn't before. 

 

I am currently running:

When you uninstalled them, are you positive you removed every trace of EUP and Siren Mastery?

 

 

I do believe so, I uninstalled in direct reversal as my install.

For the windowed issue, I often have this problem if something else pops up while opening GTA. For example, a notification that Steam wants permission to change something/download.  That will cause it to open in windowed.  If you change to full screen, does it still start up in windowed?

 

If you can get it to start up in full screen, does the crashes still happen?

I cant seem to get it to start up in full screen now. I change it in game, and exit, but when I log in again it is back to windowed.

Add GTA V as an exception in your anti virus/firewall and see if the crashing still happens.

Happens to me too, just press Alt Enter when loading in.

GTA V is already added as an exception.

Temporarily remove all of your plugins except LSPDFR. (You can leave the police scanner folders, just remove the INIs and dlls).  Now give it a try and see if a) it starts full screen. and b) if it still crashes.

Do you have any vehicle mods or anything else requiring you to use openiv? And do you have a mods folder?

OK - what is really the strang part is that the plugins are not really crashing, they work fine - just errors as if they crashed.

I know. :) I'm just trying to figure out why it says they crash.

I do have vehicles mods, sound mods, visual mods etc using OPENIV - I do not have a mods folder as I just back up all my files and have a fresh unmodded game as a back up also.

Even if you have a back up, it's strongly advised to use a mods folder primarily because the mods folder doesn't involve erasing over everything.  Erasing over the vanilla files can cause problems.

I would recommend creating one and using it in the future, as unlikely as it is something that you added using openiv could cause be causing the crashing.

Ok well i removed all the ini and dll files with except of LSPDFR and it is still opening in windowed mode and "false crashing" lspdfr now - I guess i am just going to fresh install with your advise at adding in a mods folder this time. Thanks for the help from both of you, much appreciated. 

 

Heck, ive reinstalled so many times now, it only takes about 20 minutes to install all of them now - practice makes perfect....lol

I've done this before as well.  It's certainly a learning curve. :)
