How do you fix ELS lights that aren't working?

Featured Replies

Hi!

My ELS lights don't work. I have tried reinstalling ELS and reinstalling the VCF files of the vehicles, but they don't seem to work. ELS works for me before, but now, the cars won't show their lights when I press J. It says the lights work on the ELS panel, but it doesn't show the lights in-game. Help would be appreciated.

P.S. I'm using Make Visuals Great Again

Hmmmm...so there most likely tinted so youll have to go into the vehicle meta file and edit it using notepad or whatever you use... here is how!!!hope this helps...

-Find vehicles.meta file( you'll have to extract it from OpenIV so you can access it, once you have finished the instructions below put it back!!)
*update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5

-Extract to desktop and open in Notepad...once opened in notepad press CTRL+F to bring up search box

-Search vehicle and then look for  "<diffuseTint value"

-then enter <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />

Unfortunately, this won't make any difference because the lights aren't working at all.

Can you verify in your main GTA V directory you have AdvancedHookV.dll?

AdvancedHookV is more for ELS, not car related.  If you'd like, please make a brand new topic in this section and I'll try to help you out with the megapack. :)

I'm also having this issue, it says the lights are on ELS vehicles, but the lightbars remain dark. Any find for a fix?

Unfortunately, ELS is really unstable and finicky. It'll work sometimes, then randomly break, then work again.  I don't think there is anything we can do to fix this.  The only thing I can advise trying is in OpenIV, go to ASI Manager and uninstall ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI and then click install again to reinstall them. Then restart the PC, and try loading into the game again and see if that works.
