So I downloaded the FPIU  by @Thehurk and have been having troubles using it in the police 1 slot, I edited the vehicles.meta and copy and pasted everything changing police 3 to police and changing the handling ID to GRESLEY like it says in the read me. But I am still con fused to as why the game is not reading these changes. Il upload my vehicles.meta as well.

The Police3 handling line still said Police3 so I changed it to gresley.

Well I'm confused which slot is flipping then. Either way Police3 was wrong.

POLICE is flipping ironically police3 was fine.

Verify that the meta in both is correct.  As long as both are updated with "gresley", there shouldn't be problems. 

 

Also verify you're using the path mods/update/update/common/data/levels/gta5

had some issue with a model with a blacked out lightbar after fixing diffuse tint, but il just switch to a different model.

I had this issue recently, but as long as you change diffusetint, it should be fine.

 

In the meta, find diffusetint and change to 0x00FFFFFF (or <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" /> )

my meta says the diffuse tint for police for is already 0x00FFFFFF but the windows and lightbar are still black

To verify, you just said above your POLICE meta has the proper diffuse.  However you say you're using this for POLICE4.  Are you sure the POLICE4 meta is correct?

Did you previously have any other vehicles that required a special vehicles meta for POLICE4? 

 

Temporarily make this car your POLICE2.  Lets verify if it's the car, of it's the POLICE4 slot.
