Taking Screenshots

Featured Replies

What's the best way to take sort of action type screenshots? And then standard screenshots of vehicles? I have so many mods to realise and I need to take some really good screenshots of interior and exterior and close up

The way that I typically take my screenshots is I record a Rockstar Editor clip, then go into Rockstar Editor, use the Free Camera option, and hide the HUD. From there, I use Fraps or Nvidia Share (previously known as ShadowPlay) to take my screenshots.

BASIC PC STATS (FULL SPECS CAN BE FOUND HERE):
- Intel i7 6700K @ 4.4 GHz (OC)
- 16GB Corsair Vengence DDR4 RAM @ 3200 MHz - Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti Founders Edition 11GB

As Vektro said, start recording a clip in-game, then use the Rockstar Editor to move the camera around freely and take the screenshots at the angle and distance you want (Fraps, Nvidia software, Gyazo, I'm sure you'll be able to look for a screenshot program by yourself on Google if you don't already have one).

Example of screenshots I did on the online:
