ELS manual horn/siren blip makes pursed driver crash

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Not sure if this has been discussed in another thread or not, but I have come across a minor yet quite annoying but with ELS on GTAV. I will be in a pursuit or traffic stop and I will manually use the car air horn or blip the siren (or hold the key and play an alternate siren tone) when moving through traffic, however this makes the car I am pursuing/stopping drive at full speed in a direct straight line with no regard for any other cars/peds/roads and they end up just crashing somewhere rather quickly. The behaviour is totally different from how the driver was behaving during the pursuit prior to me bliping the siren/sounding the horn.

Any advice on how to get around this issue/links to other threads discussing this?

Cheers

A known "bug" if you will. If you get into the els.ini file in your directory, turn ElsTrafCtrlOn to false.

I thought as much, I'm glad it's known so we can potentially get a permanent fix in the future.

Will traffic still move when you use airhorn/siren blip when  ElsTrafCtrlOn is false, or is that the sacrifice to be made to stop pursued drivers from going crazy?
