Lights aren't bright even with Radiance

Featured Replies

Okay so I have Radiance V installed, and even with it, my lightbars are just not bright on these vehicles and it's kind of annoying not getting the full effect and was wondering if anyone knows what could be causing it.

The lightbar on the back of the LAPD Charger is really dull and you can see the lines compared to my unmarked one in the third picture as well so you can really see the difference.

Thanks in advance if I get help :)

I also recommend Brighter Lights and BEL (Brighter Emergency Lights).  I use them both and my lights are quite bright.  Granted, at night time the lights are a bit too bright, and the Taxi sign's light is like the holy light of hell.

I also recommend using Bright Lights.

Fixing the Taxi sign issue is easy, just replace the model with this.

You can edit the visual settings, but I have no clue what you'd edit.  It's why I just leave my lights bright.

You're welcome!  You could ask the mod author for Bright Lights.  I'm sure he'd know.

You can turn it down by going into the visualsettings file. Edit it, and change the value on car.defaultlight.emissive.on. You have one for daytime and nighttime. The value goes from 0-9999. When installing bright lights it is pretty much maxed out, and it is way to bright. I had to turn it down ALOT. My settings are 6000 on daytime and 1500 on nighttime. It is bright as hell even with these settings.
