Standalone vehicle has no audio

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I took my first stab at installing a standalone model today. I installed the "2016 FPIU" from this pack under the name "Sheriff3." I used the meta lines from another FPIU I have installed in the Police3 slot as my basis. The installation was partially successful as the model shows up in the game and drives beautifully, I also have normal horn and siren audio. However, I have no other audio with the vehicle...no engine, tire noise, door noise, etc.

I obviously missed a step somewhere and I need some guidance! Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello,

you might want to check your vehicles.meta file where your police3 is located and find the <audioNameHash> line. It is likely that you will find something like this: <audioNameHash /> (which is wrong). What you need to do is replace this empty line with <audioNameHash>police3</audioNameHash>

Go ahead and try doing that.
