Police5,6,7?

Featured Replies

So I know for the most part GTA IV has Ambulance, FBI1-2, Fire Truck, Police 1-4 (with 4 being the unmarked), PoliceB, PoliceT, Pranger, Sherriff 1-2 and TowTruck.

My question is I was watching one of Jeff Faviganano's videos and I noticed he linked LSPDFR cars to police5, police6 and police7. I was always under the impression we had police1-4 to work with and nothing else. Is he account for policeold1&2? If so then what's the 3rd slot. If not what's going on, what am I missing? How do I access pol5-7, can I place ELS cars in those slots via DLC content and does police5,6,7 randomly spawn in game or do I need to spawn them via going on duty or native trainer?

Thank You

From my understanding, you need ELS files like police.xml but if you want Police, 5,6,7 and you them enabled in your game since it's an addon cause R* never made a 5,6,7,  just make another xml called police5.xml and so on.

Hope that helps,

Yeah the .XML is for ELS, that's pretty simple. So since R* never used those slots when I load over police files do I name them polce5.yft, police5.ytd, police5_hi.yft? Also, will going on duty automatically detect them? Or am I going to need to go via native trainer and if so where because currently simple native trainer doesn't display 5-7 in the emergency section.

You'll also need to add them to the vehicles.meta and carvarations (I believe) in order for them to work correctly.

As for spawning you can either type in the model name by using the "Spawn using Model Name" option or by adding them to the "Added cars" menu of the trainer (using the ini to add the cars).

I would recommend this topic below:

Are there any other additional car combination folders other than mpchristmas2/mpchristmas2vehicles.rpf?
